New Year's Eve Cocktails with Friendly Freddie

Best known as "Friendly Freddie," Frederick Gotfredson pours one mean drink, and believe us, we've been privy. This fun and charismatic bartender can be seen flippin' bottles and doling out winks during happy hour at North Loop hot spot, Clubhouse Jager every week. Just in time for New Year's Eve, he's shared a few of his favorite cocktail recipes -- guaranteed to make your party pop!

Be served by Friendly Freddie Tuesday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Clubhouse Jager at 923 Washington Ave, North. The best part? Jager's weekday happy hour features 2-4-1 domestic drafts and rail drinks. They've also just added a small kitchen, which serves house-made gourmet pizzas, sandwiches, and appetizers.

Prairie French Martini

2 oz. Prairie organic vodka
1 oz. Pineapple juice

Shake and strain into martini glass. Top with 1 oz. Sparkling wine.
Pour a dash of Chambord gently down the side of the glass, so it sinks to the bottom.

Pomegranate Pear Martini

1 1/2 oz. Pear vodka
1 1/2 oz. pomegranate liqueur

Shake and strain into martini glass. Top with 1 oz. Sparkling wine. Garnish with extra long lemon twist.

Yelptini

1 oz. Prairie organic vodka
1 oz. Cointreau
1 oz. Cranberry juice

Shake and strain into martini glass. Top with 1 oz. Sparkling wine. Garnish with extra long lime twist.
