Warning Track Power

Back on the Track

Share

That ball is hit hard, it's going, going, and that ball is -- caught on the warning track to end the inning.

After nearly six months of waiting, the regular season has finally arrived, and for the first time in what seems like forever, the Minnesota Twins are partaking in games that have meaning. Not only is baseball back, however; so too is 'Warning Track Power' here at Secrets of the City.

Under a new author, Warning Track Power has returned and is ready to take off and be a one-of-a-kind community around the Minnesota Twins web. You can read some other postings at Twins Territory such as simple game recaps and news overviews, but everything here will be different and more in-depth.

Game Threads:

If the crowd is large enough here in this new park, game threads here at Warning Track Power will be frequent and daily. Game Threads can provide a place to chat during the game with knowledgeable fans. Ideas on threads as well as input on who'd be interested is welcome.

Around the Horn:

To recap each game, we'll "Around the Horn" and look into what exactly took place on the mound, in the batter's box and in the field. The feature will be similar to what goes on over at On the Ball (another great Secrets of the City section) as there will be three key points along with in-depth analysis.

The Rest:

There will no doubt be times when posting misses a day, and nothing is guaranteed. The goal however remains to provide the best possible coverage of the only baseball team in Minnesota, the Minnesota Twins. Please share thoughts on what can make Warning Track Power a good read and a good discussion area during games.

The first crack of the bat here on Warning Track Power isn't too far off...
