SPECIAL EVENT
Gallery Grooves: Studio Series
Don't miss this special edition of Gallery Grooves, forever known as the coolest way to introduce yourself to new sights, sounds, and flavors. The first in our new "Studio Series," we visit the more-than-a-studio space of artist Brant Kingman, known both for his eclectic art work and his notoriously creative late night parties, a la 3-ring circus. Double that up with our homage to MNfashion's Fall Fashion Week, and you have Art on Your Sleeve! Plan on some artful music, entertainment, people, food and drink, and backdrop as we invite the fashion and art crowds to join forces and literally - or figuratively - display their art on their sleeve. Dress creatively and you are all set for the night. Can you say "body painting?" Presented by l'etoile, Jazz88FM, and Secrets of the City. Plus, meet author and artist Jodi Hills, whose book, Heart on My Sleeve, will be available for purchase.
7 - 9 p.m. Kingman Art Studio, 1901 N.E. Grand St., Mpls. free
