Outdoor Music Madness!

MUSIC
Parisota Hot Club

What's better than enjoying your lunch on a beautiful Monday in Downtown St. Paul's gorgeous Rice Park? Not much, but when you add in the sultry gypsy-jazz stylings of Parisota Hot Club, lunch in the park gets a lot more sassy! Pack a few sandwiches, grab good perch, and settle in for some serious lunch-hour jams with this sizzlin' quartet. Each Monday through the Summer see different live music acts in Rice Park at Noon -- a nice way to ease yourself into the long week ahead!

Noon, Rice Park, 109 4th Street W., St. Paul, Free

MUSIC
Wild Honey & The Locusts

Minnehaha Falls holds a certain childhood nostalgia for us. Family picnics, the grandeur of the raging waterfall, and more keenly, the time we lost one of our favorite, highly coveted Snoopy sandals while testing fate along the banks of Minnehaha Creek. Good times, good tantrums. Anyhoo, this picturesque park is a great spot to spend a leisurely summer's eve, and tonight's performance by 8-piece Gospel band, Wild Honey & The Locusts, makes it that much more lovely. Create a cute date night with dinner at the park's seasonal seafood restaurant, The Sea Salt Eatery, before heading to the bandshell!

7 p.m., Minnehaha Falls Bandshell, 4801 South Minnehaha Park Dr., Minneapolis, Free

MUSIC
Brio Brass

Seeing a full brass band perform live is an experience, and Brio Brass definitely takes things up a notch! Band founder, Rick Rueckert, turns the concept of a traditional brass band on its ear with a repertoire fueled by jazz, rock, funk and pop. Known to play such unlikely tunes as "Eye of the Tiger," the "Rocky" theme song, and even "The Beer Barrel Polka," you'll never know quite what to expect from this fun and eclectic group of talented brass musicians. Pack a cooler and head down to the Como Lakeside Pavilion for an unexpected evening of amazing music!

7 p.m., Como Lakeside Pavilion, 1360 Lexington Parkway N., Saint Paul, Free
