A Friend Indeed: The Story of Bill Sackert Screens at the Riverview

FILM
A Friend Indeed

Make your way to the Riverview Theater tonight for a special screening of the inspiring documentary, A Friend in Need: The Bill Sackter Story. After being abandon in a mental institution for over 44 years at the tender age of seven, Sackter rose to fame as an international hero for people with disabilities. With a little help from his friends, this jovial icon managed to inspire millions with his story of perseverance and positivity -- going to show how even the slightest bit of kindness can change lives. Follow the life story of Bill Sackter in this emotional feature-length documentary, directed by Lane Wyrick. This is a one-night-only engagement, so don't miss it!

7:30 p.m., Riverview Theater, 3800 42nd Avenue S., Minneapolis, $8

HAPPY HOUR
W.A. Frost Happy Hour

Apparently, last year Happy Hour went AWOL at W.A. Frost. But now it's back after a long absence, and can be enjoyed seven days a week, and in both the Historic Main Bar and the Outdoor Garden Bar.  All you have to remember is $4. That goes for select wines, tap beer, rail drinks, and house-infused cocktails.  If you are ambitious, also remember $5.  That gets you a rotating array of appetizers, like Calamari, Asian BBQ Chicken Wings, Shrimp and Chorizo Croquettes, or Mini Steak Sandwich and Fries.  Count us in.

Happy Hour 7 days a week, 4 - 6 p.m. and 9 - 11 p.m., W.A. Frost, Selby and Western Avenues, St. Paul

MUSIC
Jobot

Little known secret...The Caterpillar Lounge at Azia Restaurant has amazing electronic music and late night happy hour seven days a week! While you most likely are familiar with the delightful dining experience that is Azia and/or Anemoni Sushi Bar, you may not have done the after-hours scene in the Caterpillar Lounge - at least not on a Monday. Tonight, join hosts Killa-B and Kelly Fisher along with electronic music scene staple Jobot, who will transform Azia's back room into a bass-heavy robot den. Enjoy a long list of wicked drink and appetizer specials (we highly recommend the Lychee-tini with a side of cranberry puffs.) For an impressive late night date, or even a Monday decompression cocktail hour, the Caterpillar Lounge at Azia is where it's at.

10pm, Azia's Caterpillar Lounge, 2550 Nicollet Avenue S, Minneapolis, Free
