Deuce Seven Returns to the Soo Visual Arts Center

ART
Lost Souls of the Cascade Tunnel

Three years after his first solo show in the SooVAC's tiny Toomer Gallery, graffiti king Deuce Seven returns in a flurry of vivid colors and intricate lines for a full-scale exhibit in the main gallery space. A collection of dark, finely-illustrated dreamscapes depicting trains and pirate ships complements large scale paintings of wicked insect-demons intertwined with criss-crossed rainbows and savage brush strokes. Don't be surprised if no one can introduce you to the artist himself, as Deuce Seven's identity is a closely guarded secret due to his favored choice of canvas: public property.

Friday, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Soo Visual Arts Center, 2640 Lyndale Avenue S., Minneapolis, Free

On the walls, you'll be introduced to FiveTwoSix's newest visual artist, Jesikah Ruehle. On top of that, owner Steve Trevino is one of the most charming fellows in the Twin Cities!
