Transmission: Celebration
DJ Jake Rudh's long-running dance party, Transmission, indulges our guilty pleasures with a night of top 40 tunes and one-hit-wonders from the 1980s! What's more, is in honor of the new Madonna release, Celebration, Warner Bros. Records will be giving away the complete catalog of releases by Madonna on CD as grand prizes to the two attendees wearing the sassiest '80s ensembles! Mr. Rudh also promises tasty beats from the likes of "Michael, Cyndi, George, Lionel, Prince, Daryl & John, Whitney, Janet, Billy, Debbie, Phil, Pat, Rick, Sheena, Shelia, Rod, Huey, Kenny, Tina, Corey, Elton, Rockwell and more" -- and who can argue with that? This night is all about cheesy moves and fabulous fluff, so come ready to make a fool of yourself on the dance floor!
10 p.m., Clubhouse Jager, 923 Washington Avenue N., Minneapolis, Free
